| Notes: | This work has no direct relationship with the Malay world. However, almost all subjects discussed, especially relating the methods of dhikr, bay‘ah, and talqīn, are adopted by some Malay Ulemas, who afiliated to the Sufi orders, both Shaṭṭārīyah and Qādirīyah. This text contains also the intellectual genealogy (silsilah) of the author in the orders. The full name of the author is Ṣafī al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd al-Nabī al-Anṣārī al-Madanī al-Dajjānī, who is known as Aḥmad al-Qushāshī.
